The name comes from the Swahili word meaning "to look" or "to find". That's the whole idea: you look, you find, you contact. Simple.
Finding a place to rent in Kenya is harder than it should be. You search online and get shown outdated listings. You call a number and it goes to an agent who wants a fee just to show you the door. You visit a property and discover it was already taken two weeks ago.
tuzama is our attempt to fix that. Listings are posted by the people who own or manage the properties. Contact details are real. If you see a listing, you can reach the owner directly by WhatsApp, phone call, or email and sort it out between yourselves.
