Section 1

Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using tuzama ("the platform", "we", "us"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.

Section 2

What tuzama is

tuzama is a listings directory that allows landlords and property agents ("landlords") to post rental and sale listings, and renters ("renters") to browse and contact landlords directly. tuzama is not an estate agency, does not participate in rental transactions, and does not process any payments.

Section 3

User accounts

You must create an account to post listings (as a landlord) or to view contact details (as a renter). You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must provide accurate information when registering.

Section 4

Listing content

Landlords are solely responsible for the accuracy and legality of their listings. By posting a listing, you confirm that:

The property exists and is genuinely available
The listed price and details are accurate
You have the right to list the property (you are the owner or an authorised agent)
The listing does not contain fraudulent or misleading information

tuzama reserves the right to remove any listing that violates these conditions or is otherwise deemed inappropriate.

Section 5

No payment processing

tuzama does not facilitate, process, or hold any payments between landlords and renters. Any financial arrangements (deposits, rent payments, agency fees) are made entirely between the parties involved. tuzama accepts no liability for such transactions.

Section 6

No guarantee of accuracy

We do not verify the accuracy of listing information. Renters should exercise their own due diligence before entering into any rental agreement. Always view a property in person before committing to any payment.

Section 7

Prohibited conduct

You must not use tuzama to:

Post fraudulent or scam listings
Scrape or harvest user data
Harass or spam other users
Violate any applicable Kenyan laws or regulations

Section 8

Limitation of liability

tuzama provides the platform "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any losses or damages arising from your use of the platform, interactions with other users, or the accuracy of any listing content.

Section 9

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the platform after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
